Opening:
Meeting called to order by Kelly TUCKER at 18:03 hrs at the North Shore Recreation Centre

Correspondence – One, we on the Waiting list for First Shift from Mindy MacDonald.
Report from President – by Kelly TUCKER as emailed out:
-77 registered players, plus 16 released to play Rep
- Due to the world pandemic the season started with no games, vaccination requirements, masking, daily screening however, games started in December.
-U13 Tatamagouche Titans won the banner in playdowns
- Thank you extended to everyone who helped make a difficult year with a success.
Treasurer Report by Kerri MATTATTALL as emailed out:
- TAMHA April 1, 2021 – March 31, 2021, opening bank balance year to date total $33152.63, total revenue $82384.88, total expenses $75445.66, balance $39316.85
- Expenses are on par
- Average cost of to have player on the ice is $585.00 (Ice fees were down due to Covid)
- Etransfer has been the main source of financial transfers and has been much easier than cheques.
- Motion was made by Mike FORBES to increaser the registration to $650.00 for 1st, $450.00 for 2nd, and $250.00 for introductory (sibling) fee. Motion seconded by Angie C. CARRUTHERS. All in agreement.
- Due to Covid there has been less ice time, no Octoberfest or Butter Trail Run however, Wayne Waugh Tournament, however, there has been Covid financial assistance which has helped and having ice time remain the same at 2 hours instead of 3 will help keep fees at a good price.
Fundraising Coordinator Report by Angie C. CARRUTHERS
- All 63 families have completed all fundraising by the middle of February 2022
- There are chocolate bars still available for fundraising, reach out to Angie
- The online 50/50 is not as successful as hoped, it will continue until August when it is due for renewal, at that time it will be cancelled.
- FlipGive is a great way to fundraiser, it is felt that we need to better communicate how easy it is to utilize and raise money for fundraising with the public.
- The recycle depo in Tatamagouche may need another sign made on there bulletin board to remind or make the public aware that they can donate their bottle funds to TAMHA.
Election of Officers:
-Nominees read out as President – Kelly TUCKER, Vice President Mike FORBES, secretary Liz JOLLYMORE, Referee in Chief Thomas PATRIQUIN, Treasurer Kerri MATTATALL, Register Lynn MACDONALD, Fundraiser Angie C. CARRUTHERS, Equipment Manager Colleen TATTRIE, Wayne Waugh Memorial Tournament Coordinator: Sara FORBES
-Cara CARRUTHRES-FURY has stepped away from 2nd Vice President
- Motion for election of officers as read out for 2022-2023 season made by Matt FORBES. Seconded by Colleen TATTRIE. All in agreement.
- Bylaws/Constitution were emailed out. Motion to change the wording on heading Number of Penalties per Game to read as:
An automatic benching or game ejection will be assessed to any player who receives 3 minor penalties in a game. A double minor penalty counts as 2 minor penalties for the purpose of this rule. A player ejected or benched for a game under this rule will not be subject to further discipline. The ejection is for only the current game.
-Motion to approve bylaws/constitution made by Mike FORBES. Seconded by MATT FORBES.
General Discussion:
-GrayJay is replacing TeamSnap this year (email sent out)
- Needing to recruit referees. Kelly is looking into a providing fundraising with the county for refresher training for our referees so they will feel more comfortable with the calls. Glenn H. (a sr. ref) will provide key tips and go on ice to assist the referees. Posters will be put in the rink dressing rooms to encourage others to take referee training which is all online now due to Covid. Kelly emailed proposed rates of TAMHA Officials.
-Award Banquet will be held this year on Monday June 6th at 7 pm at the North Shore Recreation Centre. It was agreed that there will be no snacks or drinks provided and game jerseys are not to be worn, business casual dress for event. Scotia Bank is to be invited to the event along with all other families etc. to hand out awards. Team Rep and Coaches will hand out awards.
-Colleen will be organizing a used gear table during the awards for families to look at as there is a lot of used equipment available.
